Day trip Koh Phi Phi by speedboat.
The day begins early with the sun rising over the Andaman Sea. You’re picked up from your hotel in Phuket or Krabi and taken to the pier. The energy is high as fellow travelers board a speedboat for the 45-minute ride to Koh Phi Phi, a world-famous island known for its jaw-dropping scenery.
As the boat cuts across crystal-clear turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs begin to rise on the horizon — a sign you’re nearing paradise. Your first stop is Maya Bay, made famous by the movie The Beach. The bay is a surreal sight — turquoise waters lapping against white sand framed by dramatic cliffs.
Next, the boat glides to Pileh Lagoon, a hidden emerald pool surrounded by cliffs. Here, you can jump off the boat into warm, calm waters — it’s like swimming in a giant natural aquarium.
A stop at Viking Cave offers a glimpse into the island’s traditional bird’s nest harvesting, followed by snorkeling near Loh Samah Bay or Monkey Beach, where vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish await under the surface.
Around midday, the boat docks at Koh Phi Phi Don, the main island, for a buffet lunch at a beachside restaurant. You’ll have some time to relax, explore the village, or stroll along the palm-fringed beach.
After lunch, you visit Khai Island ,snorkel site before heading back to the mainland. The return journey is relaxed, with sun-kissed skin and a head full of memories from a tropical paradise.
